Hakwood sponsors IIDE - Preview new flooring product

Being at IIDE for the first time, Dutch flooring company Hakwood is a proud sponsor. For the design of Room 9 - the Breakfast room - Hakwood collaborated with British designer Henrietta Spencer-Churchill. To compliment her design, Spencer-Churchill selected Strata flooring in a chevron pattern, a new colour featuring Hakwood’s soon-to-be launched Ultramatte Lacquer finish.

New York Holiday House opens Bespoke Hakwood Wall Tiles adorn the bedroom

Exhibition Mantegna and Bellini in the National Gallery

The National Gallery’s exhibition about Mantegna and Bellini starts October 1. Midtown Athletic Club & Hotel Chicago

Hakwood flooring was specified for both the hotel and the club. In the words of Dwayne MacEwen, principal and creative director of DMAC Architecture, it has “added patina and warmth.” In order to achieve this, the same wood was also used for the ceiling. He goes on to describe it as the “organising element” between multiple different spaces and experiences that the centre provides.

Hakwood presents 'Behind Closed Doors' at Clerkenwell Design Week 2018

Hakwood’s ‘Behind Closed Doors’ will be a 3.2 m high installation designed and fabricated by Shape London. It will be a miniature street-scape that draws inspiration from the Dutch home of Hakwood as well as Shapes’ South East London Design Studio.
